Something has me addicted to browsing Etsy endlessly for these tiny cake rings. I'd love to have one. Although I think sporting one should come with some caution. Imagine gazing at one of these all day.

Today I decided to do a mammoth post of bags. I've fallen hard for these bags all from etsy stores. If only I had a good 100 bucks to blow on a bag. So this urge for a bag has awoken an interest in learning to sew bags myself. I hope to set aside an afternoon soon to experiment in creating my own simple, modern, and above all cute bag.

Closet after!! Not much but the fabric is very cute in a subtle way.

I was hoping that blogging would keep up my productivity, well it doesn't quite seem like it. But I have been up to a lot these last couple of weeks. Above is the before of my closet. And now finally the after.

I love the image of the Dodo. I've been drawing them myself for almost two years and yet to have found a purpose for them. All things also has a matching Dodo ring.

I came across www.allthingsoriginal.com via poppytalk and boy oh boy. Ran out of the UK all things features a lovely selection of jewelry, home goods, stationary, art, everything really. The jewelry proved all too delightful and if anyone needs some gift ideas for me with the holiday season approaching (cough cough..alan) then this is a great source.

Humidity schumidity

Today I woke up ready to bake my birthday cake for, but wait its raining. Humidity sucks. I won't be ready for the icing till later tonight, so maybe the A.C. will have to visit us again.

Okay, so everyone says I'm not the one who should make the cake on my birthday, but I really like to bake. To rob me of that would be just awful guys. I haven't told anyone what kind of cake, if it works out it will be pretty fancy. Alright I've got some baking to do.

Before: Closet

So this the closet in our bedroom. A little plain. I wanted to do something to bring a little more color onto that wall. Solution, put up a curtain. I used a tapestry from Urban Outfitters with an almost Charley Harper like bird design. The after image is soon to come.
